What to Expect:
Our auditions are designed to be fun, relaxed, and welcoming — no formal preparation is required.
We’ll guide you through a few simple activities that help us see how you interact, perform, and bring characters to life. These may include:
• A short character or acting exercise
• A brief interaction scenario similar to how you might engage with children at an event
• A simple movement activity to see how you carry yourself in character
• An optional short vocal demonstration if you enjoy singing
The goal is simply to get to know your personality, creativity, and comfort performing in a character role.
No costumes are required. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
Most of all, we want auditions to feel supportive, fun, and a chance for you to show us your personality.

What You’ll Do
• Perform as a fairytale character at birthday parties and events
• Stay in character while interacting with children and families
• Lead songs, games, storytelling, and simple activities
• Pose for photos and create magical moments for guests
• Represent The Princess Party People with professionalism and warmth
Events may include birthday parties, community events, festivals, and large ticketed experiences.
Position Requirements
Applicants should:
• Be 18 years or older
• Be comfortable performing in costume and styled wigs
• Have a strong stage presence and outgoing personality
• Be confident interacting with children and families
• Be able to stay in character during performances
• Have reliable transportation to travel to events
• Have weekend availability (most events take place Saturdays and Sundays)
Performance experience in theatre, singing, dance, or acting is a plus but not required.
Pay & Scheduling
This is a part-time, event-based role.
Most performers work 1–4 events per month, primarily on weekends.
Private Events range from 1-2 hours, larger community events are up to 8 hours.
minimum payment of 3 hours per event.
Additional opportunities may be available for large seasonal events and community appearances.
Pay is $21-$32/hr depending on experience and qualifications
